In visiting Milan one is, in many ways, thrusting oneself into
the hub of modern Italian life. Long has Milan had its reputation
for the three ‘F’s – Fashion, Finance and Football!
Located in the north of Italy, Milan is celebrated as the fashion
capital of the world, its inhabitants are as strikingly well turned
out as the city itself. Milan is the epicentre of the country’s
industry and commerce and boasts the liveliest nightlife in all
of Italy. In short, it is a paradise for anyone who likes socialising,
shopping and eating!
To make the most of a trip to Milan, staying at the 3 Star Fenice
Hotel Milan could hardly be more convenient. Located a pleasant
stroll from the Historical Centre and the Gothic Masterpiece that
is the Duomo, it is in the heart of the main shopping district of
Milan, and believe us, that is saying something!
If art is your vice, then Hotel Fenice is perfectly placed. A short
walk from the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, the Modern Art Gallery,
the Sforzesco Castle and Basilica Santa Maria delle Grazie (which
houses none other than Leonardo’s “Last Supper”),
it is a connoisseur’s dream.
